WORLD RELIGIONS
Rules are important for any site to move forword. Without rules, things would be chaos. We do have rules on here, and unlike many people think, rules are not made to be broken. They may look long, but it is only because we describe each rule a bit. Just reading the first sentence would be enough.
To avoid people breaking rules, we have some consequences that you may face if you break one of the site's rules.
SOUL SEEKERS: They are Edenic, listening to the Goddess Fenris and believing in Heaven.
HALFKIN: They are neutral, but can chose a belief if they wish, following either God or Goddess.
MORPHERS: They are Chthonic, listening to the God Gmork, and believing in the Underworld.
BLACKBLOODS: They are outcasts so they remain neutral, but can chose a belief if they wish.

THE LEGEND
Aeldor is told to be as old as the Earth itself. The Gods were the ones that created Aeldor at Earth's centre; they are believed to be even older than the planet. Animals were made on Aeldor the same time that dinosaurs ruled Earth's surface. After the Ice Age, a crack appeared in the surface, allowing animals from Aeldor to come to Earth's surface, starting the age of the mammals. However, soon after the crack disapeared, and all animals on Earth lost their abilities and communication with other animal species. The tigers in Aeldor, however, did not.
There were two gods; a brother and a sister. They had the form of tigers, which is why tigers were chosen to rule Aeldor. It was agreed that they would rule the world together, in peace and friendship. One would take the living world, and would call it Heaven. The other would take the dead world, and would call it the Underworld. But one of the gods, Fenris, ruler of Heaven, was jealous of her brother. He had the power to decide the destiny of the animals on Aeldor; where they will end up after their life on Earth dies. Jealousy, as you may know, is one of the seven deadly sins. This caused her to break their alliance; using her powers, she set a spell over her brother, capturing him, and trapping him beneath Aeldor's surface forever.
Gmork, the brother, was enraged by this betrayal. But her spell was too powerful, and he was unable to break it. His world was now turning into a prison, for him and those who have died. But Fenris still had a heart; she allowed tigers who have done good deeds in their lives to join her in Heaven, or join her brother in the Underworld.
This is what caused the Great Divide. The Soul Seekers chose to follow Fenris, for they learned to live and talk with their soul companion from a different animal species. The Morphers chose to follow Gmork, angry at his sister's betrayal. They learned to steal the soul of another animal, allowing them to transform to look like that animal. The Halfkin have chosen to remain neutral or join a belief. The Blackbloods are outcasts, thus they don't have a religion unless, like the Halfkin, they choose one God to follow.

CHTHONIC BELIEF
You may of guessed, The Chthonic are those who wish to follow Gmork's rule. They are angry at Fenris and her betrayal to her brother. They believe that what they are doing is correct, to help Gmork get revenge on his sister. They hold ritual sacrifices to their god, giving him the heart of pups to appease his hunger for revenge. Of course the sacrifices are those who believe in Fenris, for the Chthonic believe giving Gmork the hearts of the Edenic will allow him to break Fenris's seal on him.

EDENIC BELIEF
The Edenic are those who believe in Fenris. They live their lives to the fullest, believing that everything they accomplish in their lives is morally correct. They claimed the Northern Kingdom as theirs, for it is the highest land on the island, thus allowing them to be closer to their god. Unlike the Chthonic they do not believe that Fenris requires sacrifices to keep her happy. They instead believe that she is happy as long as no one sins; sins hurt her and weaken her, thus you should make the right choices all the time.
